Connect with Your Emotions
How are you feeling? I mean how are you REALLY feeling?
Now is not the time to be stuffing your emotions down, being strong for everyone else. Yes, it is OK for you to be there for others, but it is critical that you are also there for yourself.
“It’s okay to feel the emotions that are surfacing in you at this time. It does not matter if they are joyous or sad (or anger or anxiety or fear), they are all powerful messengers that allow you to understand what you want and need. Taking time to breathe and acknowledge them lets them flow through you rather than crashing down on you as an overwhelming wave.”
