You Can't Hurry Love

We all learn something more about ourselves and the world we live in, each time we step back into the arena of love.

Looking for love in today’s world is not as easy, or as fun as it may seem. Wondering if you will ever find Mr. Right, if you’re pretty enough, cute enough, young enough, strong enough, sexy enough…

All the ridiculous doubts.

But when I feel my knees knocking… when my courage is wavering…

 Can’t hurry love

When I feel my strength, it's almost gone," the wisdom of the Supremes plays in my mind:

You can't hurry love,
you just have to wait,
you got to trust, give it time,
no matter how long it takes.
"

No matter how long it takes!!! WHAT!?!? (TICK TOCK TICK TOCK TICK TOCK)

Unwavering Faith

My friends say I make being single in my late 40’s, look easy. HA!
Let's be real... there is a reason the above song gets stuck on repeat in my head. It is a not so gentle reminder to release the frustration, the worry, the wanting to push things ahead and force the happily ever after.

So…

😊I simply smile.

🙏I practice unwavering faith.

I believe in myself.

💗And I believe I’m here to love and be loved.

I know it's my belief system that gives some the impression that dating has been a ride down the lazy river for me... when really, it hasn't. Believing in the power of a smile, the power of self-love, and the law of attraction is my foundation, my calming force in the game of love.

The Journey

You see, everyone we meet, and every experience that comes from these meetings of kindred and not so kindred spirits is an essential part of our journey. Not every one of them is meant to be true love.

A guy friend of mine recently said something about a sarong I was wearing. When I teased him for taking up reading Glamour magazine, he sheepishly smiled and said, I learned that from my last relationship.

And there it is.

We all learn something more about ourselves and the world we live in, each time we step back into the arena of love.

Heartbreak happens.

I don’t necessarily want to shake you by your shoulders and say snap out of it, stop whining, suck it up buttercup, this is what life is...

BUT IT IS.

And until you choose to put on a new pair of glasses and look at the world through a new hue, you will continue to feel less than joyful along the way.

Deep in your heart you know that if your life is lacking joy before you meet “the love of your life,” you will discover in time, the love of your life is also void of joy.

We attract what we put out into the world with our internal vibration, our personal radio frequency, our vibe. This is what they mean by ‘Raise Your Vibration.’

One way I raise my vibration is by reading this quote that I made my personal mantra years ago. Maybe it can be your mantra too...

I believe in PINK - Audrey Hepburn

”I believe in PINK. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles." ~ Audrey Hepburn

You know girls, we are all in this together. We're supposed to share with our friends.

Let me share with you how you too can practice the power of a smile, self-love and the modern law of attraction.

It would be wonderful if we could all believe in “PINK” and "just trust and give it time, no matter how long it takes." :)
