June opens on the heels of the Full Flower Moon in Sagittarius on May 29th still casting a glow over us. This is a generous, gentle and sensuous Full Moon underscored by a grand planetary formation in water signs. This grand water alignment takes some of the harsh edges off the jolt that many of us experienced in May when Radical Uranus and Motivating Mars sharply shifted gears, challenging each other.
While there are the usual planetary sign changes during this month of May, one, in particular, makes us stand up and take notice. Uranus, planet of rebellion, genius, invention and the non-mainstream, has been cycling through fiery Aries for the past seven years. At mid-month, Uranus shifts into earthy Taurus. As Taurean Barbra Streisand says: let’s talk. Uranus is change. It is called The Great Awakener.
